I am a certified special education teacher in Michigan. I have a passion for teaching individuals that have special learning needs. My twenty years experience teaching at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels have enriched my understanding of the challenges students face at various stages of their growth. Recently, I started teaching at the post-secondary level.
I have a B.A. in elementary education, a masters in special education, and second masters in school administration.
I enjoy writing, reading, learning about computer technology, and spending time with my cat. I love learning about mental health topics. I'm a firm believer that a person's mental health is important for happiness, dealing with stress, and being successful in many areas of life.
